If you or a loved one has brain / neurological damage or injury, then welcome to the Crow's Nest Online Support Group for Brain Injury and Illness. We were founded 9/12/05 and opened to the public on 9/13/05. Our goal is to provide a friendly online support community for survivors, caregivers, friends, family, and parents of adult survivors and special needs children, whose lives have been touched from any number of brain injuries.

It doesn't matter if you or a loved one has had a Traumatic Brain Injury, stroke, neurological injury, or any number of neurological illnesses. The effects are life changing, and the need for a support system crucial.

There can be multiple reasons why someone with a brain injury is unable to speak. In severe cases the person is also unable to write, or even read.
This chart is designed to give basic communication ability to those individuals by using images instead of words.
